12 January 2012</title><content type='html'>Not much to report this week ahead, Cloudy and Windy Saturday, a high moving in should see fine weather for this week with temps from Mid 20's to low 30's, a couple of lows forming off the Pilbara &amp;amp; Kimberley coasts may need to be watched mid week.&lt;br /&gt;Weather zone's 28 day forecast doesn't look promising but don't take much notice, the high risk rain days disappear as we get closer to them, at last look it shows all this week fine with the next 21 days as high risk rain, 2 weeks ago this week was also high risk rain. 4 January 2012</title><content type='html'>Wow 2012 already, looks like we may get a wet finish to 2011 though, hopefully not but thunderstorms are hanging around.&lt;br /&gt;What happened for December and for 2011&lt;br /&gt;Wettest Day: 13th December 84.4mm, though falls in other area's were above 100mm and some as high as 230mm&lt;br /&gt;Total Rain for the month: 137.9mm (8 Days) but again some area's are well above this and over 300mm, this is an all time monthly record beating the previous record of 95mm in 1913.&lt;br /&gt;Yearly Total (until 30th December): 614mm which is 323mm more than we received last year but well short of the 1955 record of 741mm.&lt;br /&gt;Highest Temp for the year: was 42c on January 28 with the record being 44.7c on the 03/02/2007&lt;br /&gt;Lowest Temp for the year: was -0.6c on 5th August with the record low being -3.1c on 06/09/1956&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;My prediction for 2012 is around 450mm of rain with good falls from May - September, I base my prediction on averages from similar years, I did say it would be wet this year as the last time we had low cyclones was 1978 which was a wet year, for this year I predicted a possible 600mm with a wet October and November, missed December&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;For this week chance of thunderstorms Friday Afternoon and Saturday with heavier falls in eastern area's&lt;br /&gt;Light Rain possible Wednesday 3rd January&lt;br /&gt;Heavier Rain Thursday 4th with possible 10mm -
